If we are able to greet you with your jewelry in our shop, we first check the pieces with the eye and the magnifying glass. Here we look for the punches, engravings, possibly damage and the general condition. The size of the rings, the length of a bracelet or a chain as well as the weight flow into the evaluation.
We not only check the gold, platinum or silver content with the classic test acid, but also with a calibrated test device (X-ray fluorescent analysis), which can precisely measure the compositions of the precious metal. So we can always determine exactly which precious metals have been processed in the jewelry and you can be sure to get the right price for every gram of your beautiful piece of jewelry.
When gemstones have been processed in the jewelry, we also look at the magnifying glass for possibly damage such as light scratches or fractures. Sometimes it is necessary to examine a colored stone or a diamond in the laboratory in order to be able to determine a precise value. A first -class and extensive laboratory is available to us for this. In connection with our qualified training and professional experience, it offers us the opportunity to include the gemstones fairly in a price calculation.

You can visit us during our regular opening times Mon - Thu from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. or make a personal appointment, where we can concentrate exclusively and undisturbed on you and your jewelry. If you are not able to see us, you can also give an assessment in advance at your home or where the jewelry has been secured. As a rule, however, we always need a professional and fair assessment afterwards, your jewelry in our specialist shop. For possibly transport, we only work with very reliable and secure companies and your jewelry will be insured by our in -house insurance on the way to us and here on site.
