Description

This magnificent piece of jewelry from the Art Deco period has an interesting history. This beautiful piece likely originated in Caracas, Venezuela. A German emigrant named Gathmann opened a jewelry store there called Gathmann Hermanos in the mid-19th century. The piece was crafted from 18k yellow gold. The bar pin on the front was platinum-plated, and diamonds were combined with beautiful pink sapphires. A magnificent piece of jewelry from its era, complete with its original box.
